Armor Check joins the European MaJoR program, funded by the European Defence Fund
Armor Check® reaches a new milestone in its European development. Our company has just been selected among 30 European innovators to join MaJoR (Maintenance & Joint Operations Readiness), a programme funded by the European Defence Fund (EDF) and supported by the European Defence Agency (EDA).
A selection that rewards our predictive maintenance expertise
The MaJoR programme aims to identify and support innovative technological solutions to improve the maintenance and operational readiness (MRO) of European defence platforms. Armor Check's project was selected under the topic of structural health monitoring (SHM), health and usage monitoring systems (HUMS), and embedded sensor architectures.
Each selected company will receive up to €60,000 in funding, along with a structured six-month support programme, alongside industry leaders, research centres and key European defence stakeholders.
This selection marks an important milestone for Armor Check: it confirms the ability of our damage detection technology to extend beyond individual ballistic protection, now also covering land platforms and armoured vehicles.
